Amazon Prime Day is just around the corner and I am so excited. Aside from Black Friday, Amazon Prime Day’s two day sale has some incredible deals and you won’t want to miss them! Plus – who doesn’t love shopping in their favorite cozies with a cup of Joe? Sign me up!
I know we all love a good sale, but Amazon Prime Day can get a bit overwhelming – similar to the Nordstrom or Sephora Sale – with hundreds of options to sift through, all while trying to maintain your sanity and avoid feeling any serious #FOMO. This post is going to help navigate you through the important details, answer some commonly asked questions and also includes some of my favorite items you won’t want to miss!

WHEN DOES AMAZON PRIME DAY START?
Mark your Calendars! Amazon announced that Amazon Prime Day will be July 12- 13th! I’ll be sharing different round ups for you up until the start of the sale, both on Instagram and through my LTK. If you follow me on the LTK app, there is an option to “favorite” certain items. Once they go on sale, you’ll be notified immediately and be the first to shop. This is always a great option because the hottest deals typically sell our quickly!
WHAT TIME DOES AMAZON PRIME DAY START?
Do you prefer shopping in the evening or in the morning? Either way – you can start shopping the sale as early as 12:00am on July 12th! Wow!

PLAN AHEAD
Download the Amazon app so you can start building your wishlist. Amazon also gives you a sneak peek of some of their most popular items prior to the sale on the App for Amazon Prime Day!
SET UP NOTIFICATIONS
There are two ways you can set up notifications to make sure you don’t miss out on the items you want! First, you can do this in the Amazon App. Tap the menu icon, click “Today’s Deals” and tap on “upcoming” for a look at all deals coming up. When you see a product you like, tap “watch this deal” and bam! You’ll be notified when the deal starts! Popular items tend to sell out quickly!
The other way to set up notifications is through the Like to Know it app. I share all of my favorite Amazon home finds over on LTK, my Instagram Stories and more! All you have to do is “heart” the product you love and you will be notified when it goes on sale! So easy and I’ve done a lot of the hard work of sifting through all of the Amazon sale to find you the best deals and finds!
USE THE CAMERA SEARCH FEATURE
Want to make shopping the sale even easier? Or maybe you love a product a friend has and want to find the same one quickly? Try Amazon’s camera search feature! To use it, all you have to do is open up the app, tap the camera icon to the right of the search bar and take a photo of a similar item you’re wanting to buy. For example, I LOVE our Dyson stick vacuum and want to add another one similar to our collection! I always like to wait for a sale so this is the time to do it!
To access the camera, tap “product search” and scan the product. Amazon will pull up the exact the or give you a list of similar items! match or one like it. Filter your search results to only include Prime Items and you’re done! That easy!
