As we near the completion of our new home, I can’t help but start dreaming of the perfect pieces to incorporate into our nest. With two kiddos and a small pup to keep in mind, I try to incorporate pieces that are both stylish and budget-friendly. So you can probably guess that my heart actually skipped a beat when I found out that Studio McGee partnered with Target and has their very own line with them. I have followed along with Studio McGee from what feels like the beginning, and as much as I loved them, I wasn’t sure that we were in the right season of life with our young kiddos to hire them to come in and design our living space. I’ve found that with a neutral home base, you are able to incorporate so many fun textures and elements for different seasons and holidays. Accessories can play a huge part in your home’s decor. Throw pillows, a chunky knit blanket and floor vases can instantly change the look of the room. I love being able to play around with a mix of textures, soft muted tones, and greenery for the perfect combination to update any space.
